Bill Fischer

Bill Fischer is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as the Chief Accounting Officer at Empower since December 2024, Bill previously held the same title at Better from February 2023 to December 2024. Prior to that, Bill had a long tenure at Homepoint, where roles included Senior Managing Director - Chief Accounting Officer and Managing Director - Controller/CAO. Earlier career positions include VP of Finance at The Bank of Princeton and AVP, Accounting Manager at Roma Bank. Bill's experience also encompasses technical accounting and auditing roles at PHH Corporation and Deloitte, respectively. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The College of New Jersey.
