Li Li

Li Li has over 12 years of work experience in the data science field. Li began their career in 2009 as an Intern at Investment Department at Heng An Standard Life. In 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at Duke University School of Law. From 2012 to 2019, Li Li held various roles at Capital One, including Data Science Manager & Principal Data Scientist and Sr. Data Analyst & Principal Data Analyst. In 2019, they moved to Visa as Sr. Manager, Data Science / Director of Data Science, Data Product. Currently, Li Li is employed at Empower as the Director of Data Science.

Li Li obtained their M.A. in Economics from Duke University between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their B.A. in Mathematics & Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology between 2006 and 2010. Li Li also holds certifications from Coursera for Deep Learning Specialization (obtained in April 2020), GARP FRM Program for Financial Risk Manager Part II candidate (obtained in June 2015), and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
