Senior Data Scientist at Empower

Nathan George has a long and varied work experience. Nathan began their career in 2007 as an Undergraduate Researcher at Colorado School of Mines. In 2008, they were a Research Assistant at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. In 2009, they were an Undergraduate Mentor and Graduate Researcher at UC Santa Barbara, where they were the first author of three scientific papers. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at NuvoSun as a Device Process Engineer, DataCamp as a DataCamp course developer, and Empower as a Data Science Consultant. In 2021, they joined Tink as a Senior Data Scientist, where they led data science work for the enrichment categorization team. In 2023, they joined Empower as a Senior Data Scientist.

Nathan George's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, which they obtained between 2009 and 2013.
