Nick Maki

Nick Maki is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Infrastructure Operations and Engineering at Empower since November 2004. In this role, Nick oversees the support and management of IT infrastructure and enterprise workloads across on-premises and multiple cloud environments, leading implementation processes for revenue-generating systems, including Windows, UNIX, virtualization, storage, backups, and messaging systems like Office 365. Prior to Empower, Nick held various significant positions, including Manager of Technical Operations at All Covered and Principal/Managing Consultant at Merrill Lynch. Nick began his career as a LAN Supervisor at the University of Northern Colorado. Nick holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Technology from Regis University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology from the University of Northern Colorado.
