Jianwei Liu

Jianwei Liu currently serves as the VP of Semiconductor Technology at Xenter, Inc. since December 2021, leading technology and engineering developments for medical devices related to pressure sensing and ultrasound-on-chip imaging. Previously, Jianwei held the position of VP of MEMS Technology at Butterfly Network, Inc., where responsibilities included establishing key business relationships with semiconductor manufacturers, leading the development of capacitive MEMS ultrasound transducers, and managing wafer production operations. Earlier roles included Sr. Director at TDK InvenSense, Principal Engineering Manager at QUALCOMM Inc., and several engineering management positions at Seagate Technology and Miradia. Jianwei Liu earned a Ph.D. in Macromolecular Science and Engineering and a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Michigan, following a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Peking University.
