Liavis Vilarino is a seasoned finance and human resources professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as a People and Culture Payroll Specialist at Empower Simcoe since September 2022, Liavis previously held roles such as Payroll and Accounting Specialist at Tarpin Lumber & Truss and a decade-long tenure at Mill Creek Care Centre as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, and Payroll and Benefits Coordinator. Earlier career experiences include management positions at South Barrie Eye Clinic and Aguas de La Habana, as well as a university professorship in Financial and Cost Systems. Liavis holds multiple certifications from the National Payroll Institute and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría," complemented by a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering.
