Kristen Schiro is an experienced professional in the fields of human services and health and wellness, currently serving as Executive Director at Empower Somerset since January 2020, after a tenure as Assistant Director. Prior to this role, Kristen held the position of Director of Human Services for the Township of Bridgewater from April 2018 to December 2019 and was the Director of Health and Wellness at EmPoWER Somerset from March 2012 to April 2018. Kristen began their career as an Advertising Manager at Gannett Newspapers from December 2001 to December 2008. Kristen Schiro holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
