Ashley Newman

Ashley Newman currently serves as a psychotherapist at Empower U. since July 2021, focusing on providing psychotherapy to children and families and facilitating support for parents. Prior to this role, Ashley held various positions at the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College from October 2014 to June 2021, including Associate Director of Academic Advising and Academic Advisor, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating retention efforts, New Student Orientation, and advising students. Additional experience includes working as an adjunct instructor and a student services representative, alongside a practicum in academic advising. Ashley Newman holds a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University, a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Arkansas Tech University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Arkansas State University.
