Marlon W. Gray M.s., Ed.d.

Founder & Managing Partner at Empower U.

Marlon W. Gray, M.S., Ed.D. has a diverse work experience, with a strong focus on empowerment programs for children and families. From 2015 to present, they are the Founder and Managing Partner of Empower U., where they assess needs, develops, implements, and monitors individual and group empowerment programs. Marlon W. is also responsible for managing contracts with State agencies and overseeing the entire workforce.

Marlon is also currently working as a Principal at 6Alpha Ventures since 2021.

From 2015, Marlon has been a Member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer at Hudson Partnership Cmo. In this role, they assist in overseeing the function of the children's care management organization, raises community awareness, and assists in community resourcing and partnership processes.

Previously, from 2013 to 2015, Marlon was the Managing Partner at WellesGroupe, and from 2011 to 2015, they were Founder of WellesLabs, an app development firm that specialized in games, lifestyle applications, and business applications.

Marlon W. started their career in 2003 as the Founder and Executive Director of The Youth Success Network, where they played a key role in empowering youth.

Marlon W. Gray, M.S., Ed.D. has a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California. Marlon W. also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management: Strategy & Leadership from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Organizational Leadership from Fordham University. Marlon completed their high school education at Marlboro High School, where they focused on Computer Science & Business. In addition to their academic qualifications, Marlon has obtained several certifications related to entrepreneurship, including Entrepreneurship 4: Financing and Profitability, Entrepreneurship 3: Growth Strategies, Entrepreneurship 2: Launching your Start-Up, and Entrepreneurship 1: Developing the Opportunity, all from the University of Pennsylvania.
