Kimberly Yates serves as the Community Director and Community Manager at Empowered since March 2023. Previously, Kimberly worked as a Community Strategist at Khoros from April 2022 to November 2022 and spent nearly a decade at The Social Element as a Social Media Manager, where responsibility included managing two teams of Social Media Specialists and fostering community relationships for notable brands such as OREO and Smirnoff. Kimberly's earlier career involved teaching English at various educational institutions, including Parkway Central High School and Quincy High School, accompanied by roles such as Composition Instructor at Rogers State University and adjunct professor at Tulsa Community College. Kimberly holds a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from Quincy University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Truman State University.
