Prior to this, Sowmya has held various roles such as UIUX & Graphic Design Intern at Empowered Futures, Secretary and Design Committee member at UX/UI Association at SJSU, and Consulting Analyst at San Jose Consulting Group. Sowmya is also involved in the Management Information Systems Association at SJSU. Sowmya is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems at San Jose State University, where Sowmya also pursued a minor in Interaction Design.
