Scott Rintoul

Vice President Of Global Communications at Empowered Startups

Scott Rintoul has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of communications and media. Starting in 2002, they worked as a TV Reporter at SportsNet, covering major North American sports and generating local and provincial stories. During this time, they had the opportunity to cover multiple Grey Cups and Super Bowls. In 2005, they joined TSN Radio as a Radio Host and later took on the role of PxP Voice for BC Lions. Scott worked as the Lions' sideline reporter on radio broadcasts for eight years before transitioning to a role as a sideline reporter for four Grey Cup National Radio Broadcasts from 2012 to 2016. In 2017, Scott joined Sportsnet 650 as the Host of The Scott Rintoul Show on Sportsnet 650 & Sportsnet 960. Scott continued in this position until 2021. In 2022, they founded and became the Principal of Toul Kit Content Ltd. Currently, as of October 2023, they hold the position of Vice President of Global Communications at Empowered Startups.

Scott Rintoul obtained a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry from The University of British Columbia, which they completed from 1993 to 1997.
