Shawn Chapman

Shawn Chapman is a technology entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in co-founding and managing tech-focused companies. Currently serving as Co-founder and CTO at EmpowerLocal since July 2018, Shawn is also a Co-founder at Surgiorithm, Inc., which offers software solutions for ophthalmologists and aesthetic surgeons. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at Hytch, LLC, and Co-founder and CTO at Wannado, Inc., where the focus was on enhancing personal engagement in activities. Shawn's technical foundation is rooted in co-founding Datagoeshere, emphasizing REST APIs and third-party integrations, alongside significant roles at BancVue and Dealerskins where technology strategy and information security were pivotal. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University.
