Steven Jones, II

Steven Jones, II has a wealth of professional experience in Human Resources and Program Management. Steven started their career in 2012 as the Human Resources and Operations Manager for Collaborative Companies, a collection of firms that design and build residential and commercial buildings. In 2013, they became an HR Business Partner for Beyondsoft, where they drove onboarding and orientation, conflict management engagements, and designing and negotiating compensation strategy with international clients and international, internal VPs. Steven then moved to Arth Systems in 2014 as an HR Manager, where they stood up and drove people operations and systems, led employer branding campaigns, and engaged customers as a member of the leadership team. In 2015, they became an HR Leader for Moxie, a fast-growing SaaS company acquired by NICE, where they supported senior leaders including engineering executives and managed the People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management teams and operations. In 2018, they joined Zones, LLC as an HR Business Partner, where they delivered senior level, strategic HR consultation at the global organization level. In 2019, they became an MBA Consultant for a Leading Auto, Fire, and Life Insurance Company. In 2020, they became a Senior Program Management Consultant for Xoriant, where they lead Consultant for global, operations/digital transformation projects across 6 global time zones. Steven also became an Independent Consultant, where they activated their clients' talent, leadership, and organizational capabilities to deliver value. In 2021, they became the Director of Human Resources for Oklahoma Baptist University. Steven is currently the Human Resources Leader for Empowerly, a position they have held since 2022.

Steven Jones, II obtained a Bachelor of Music Education (BME) from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2015. Steven then obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in July 2015. In 2018, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Purdue University Krannert School of Management. Steven also obtained an MBA in International Management from TIAS School for Business and Society in 2019.
