Cassandra Favrow

Cassandra Favrow has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and sports industry. Cassandra began their career as a Healthy Living Coach and Personal Trainer at the YMCA of Greater Kansas City in 2014. Cassandra then worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Life Care Centers of America from 2019 to 2020. In the same year, they also served as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at MAVS Volleyball. From 2019 to 2021, Cassandra worked as a Private Care Provider for a private individual. Currently, they are employed at EmpowerMe Wellness, starting as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2021 and progressing to become a Clinic Director until 2022. Cassandra is currently serving as the Area Director of Operations.

Cassandra Favrow completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Kinesiology from Kansas State University between 2010 and 2013. Cassandra then pursued an Associate in Applied Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley, graduating in 2016. Prior to this, Cassandra attended the University of Mary in 2009-2010 to study Exercise Science and Neosho County Community College from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Athletic Training/Trainer. Cassandra holds additional certifications as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant from the State of Kansas since 2016, a Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP) from the American College of Sports Medicine since 2013, and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association obtained in 2012.
