Theresa Catalano

Theresa Catalano has extensive work experience in the healthcare and laboratory fields. Theresa is currently working as the Vice President of Operational Excellence at EmpowerMe Wellness, where they are responsible for overseeing the establishment of two clinical laboratories and managing daily operations. Prior to this role, they worked at Mercy as a Laboratory Manager, where they streamlined laboratory operations and maintained collaborative relationships with other departments. Theresa also has experience as a Laboratory Supervisor at the University of Missouri Health Care, where they managed two academic facilities and coordinated the installation and validation of laboratory equipment. Additionally, they worked as a Medical Technologist at both the University of Missouri Health Care and Missouri Baptist Medical Center, where they performed a wide range of laboratory procedures and managed immunohematology-related tasks.

Theresa Catalano holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from Marquette University. Theresa also obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Public Health from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In addition, they have certifications in Project Management from Cornell University and as a Medical Laboratory Scientist from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
