José Carlos Rafael de Assis Vasquez

José Carlos Rafael de Assis Vasquez. Business Administration degree from the Metropolitan University Center [UniFMU – Universidades Metropolitanas Unidas], obtained in 1994, and received a Graduate degree in Business Administration from Mackenzie University in 2003, he also completed the course of the senior executive program (C Level) at London Business School in 2011. He started his professional activities in store operations (trainee program) at Carrefour in 1992 where he remained for 2 years until he reached the position of Sector Manager. In 1995 he started at Walmart Brasil, where he held several positions, starting as section manager until he reached the position of Executive Vice President, worked as superintendent director of Atacadista Roldão, and from 2015 to 2018 he worked at the company Cencosud Brasil (Prezunic and Bretas flags), as CEO. In 2018 he joined the Company as COO. In 2019 he became Vice-President of Operations and Digital department. As of March 2020, he started to accumulate the positions of Vice-President of Operations, Digital and Expansion Director.
