Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a robust background in developing collaborative solutions for interactive educational technology. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris is engaged in hardware development for Digital Vision Touch interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Previously, Chris held roles as a firmware engineer and an electronics contractor, contributing to electronics design and repair for educational programs. Chris also has teaching experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and has worked as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for the forestry industry. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
