Barbara LaRue

Barbara LaRue has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Barbara currently works as an Engineering Technician at Emprise Corporation since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Medical Office Receptionist at BRANSON PULMONOLOGY AND SLEEP LLC from October 2021 to May 2022, where they handled various administrative tasks and maintained patient records. Barbara also has experience in insurance agencies, having worked as an Associate Agent at Lincoln Heritage in 2016 and as a Career Agent at American Income Life Insurance Company from December 2015 to February 2016. Additionally, they have technical support expertise from their role as a Technical Support Specialist at Columbia Technologies from June 2015 to November 2015. Barbara's early career began in the US Navy, where they served as a Nuclear Machinist Mate 2nd Class from November 2006 to May 2015, responsible for maintaining mechanical systems and ensuring safety during maintenance. Lastly, they gained experience as a Crew Trainer at McDonald's Corporation from March 2004 to October 2006.

Barbara LaRue's education history begins with their high school diploma from Lipan High School, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences at Wake Technical Community College from 2016 to 2017. Continuing their academic journey, Barbara attended North Carolina State University from 2017 to 2019 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology/Biological Sciences. Barbara then further expanded their knowledge by enrolling at Thomas Edison State University from 2022 to 2023, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology/Technician.

In addition to their formal education, Barbara has obtained two certifications. In August 2022, they became a Certified Vibration Analyst - Category II from the Technical Associates of Charlotte. Shortly after, in September 2022, they obtained the MLA I certification from the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML).
