Joseph Butterfield

Joseph Butterfield has a diverse work experience in the marine and military sectors. Joseph currently works as a Marine Engineering Technician at Emprise Corporation since October 2021. Prior to this, they served in the US Navy where they held various roles including Divisional Safety Petty Officer, Duty Section Leader, Steam Plant/Reactor Plant Cleanliness Inspector, Repair Parts Petty Officer of Reactor Mechanical Division, Chief Reactor Watch/Fleet Forces Exam Chief Reactor Watch, and Nuclear Machinist Mate. During their tenure in the Navy, they demonstrated skills in workplace safety, training, technical advising, inspection, maintenance coordination, material handling, operation of nuclear power plant machinery, and training evaluation. Joseph was also involved in the qualification and training of numerous sailors in different roles.

Joseph Butterfield attended Matthew Fontaine Maury High School from 2008 to 2012. In 2016, they enrolled in Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC).
