Empty Streets Organization is a 501(c)(3) youth-led nonprofit founded in 2024 by Seohyun Lee, dedicated to fighting human trafficking through education, awareness, survivor support, and student-led action.

As the world’s largest youth-led nonprofit for anti-human trafficking, Empty Streets empowers young people to take action against exploitation in their schools, communities, and beyond. We believe students are not too young to create meaningful change, and that awareness is one of the first steps toward prevention. Through our growing network of 50+ chapters and 5,000+ volunteers across 7 countries, Empty Streets leads awareness campaigns, donation drives, educational initiatives, care package projects, and community-based service efforts to support survivors and educate the next generation. To date, Empty Streets has helped support 6,000+ survivors of human trafficking and has raised approximately $35,000 in donation funds and tangible items to further our mission.

Our mission is to educate, support, and mobilize. We educate communities about human trafficking, support survivors through service-centered initiatives, and mobilize youth leaders around the world to create lasting impact.
Empty Streets continues to grow through passionate students, volunteers, donors, and partners who believe in using their voices and resources to fight human trafficking and support those affected by it.
