Serge Mirault

Serge Mirault has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to data management, database administration, and information technology. Serge is currently the Director of Data Operations at Empyrean, where they oversee a data and digital transformation strategy. Prior to this, Serge worked at WEX Inc. as a Manager of Information Systems and Lead Database Administrator, where they managed global DBA teams and implemented various data management and optimization techniques. Serge also has experience in database services management at WEX and was a Professional Database Administrator at CSC. Earlier in their career, Serge served as the Director of Information Technology at RFD-TV and as an Application Development Manager at AMI Metals Inc. Serge has also worked as a Consultant for the State of Tennessee and Paradigm Health Corporation, and as a Software Engineer at medibuy. Serge has a strong background in developing data solutions, implementing data security measures, and managing IT infrastructure.

Serge Mirault obtained a Bachelor of Music in Theory & Composition from Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1993 to 1998. Serge also completed a program in Applied Information Technology at the Information Technology Institute from 1998 to 1999. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in areas such as artificial intelligence and productivity tools, primarily from LinkedIn.
