Andrea Collazo

Andrea Collazo is a finance professional with extensive experience in distressed credit and special situations. Currently serving as Principal at Empyrean Capital Partners since 2020, Andrea specializes in distressed credit, event-driven equities, opportunistic credit, and special situations. Prior to this role, Andrea was Vice President at HPS Investment Partners, LLC from 2017 to 2020, focusing on direct lending and private credit. Andrea's earlier experience includes serving as an Analyst at Silver Point Capital, L.P. and Credit Suisse, where the focus was on distressed credit and investment banking in the Technology, Media & Telecom sectors, respectively. Andrea holds a B.A. in Political Science, Hispanic Studies, and Business Management from Columbia University and attended Oxford Academy.
