John Monaghan is a Commercial Manager at EMR, having begun their career there as a Trainee Commercial Manager in 2015. They developed expertise in the operation and product characteristics at EMR, particularly in ferrous and non-ferrous grades, as well as processing methods. John also has experience as a Chartering broker, negotiating terms related to vessel operations. Prior to joining EMR, they completed an internship at Meridian Marine Management Limited, focusing on vessel maintenance management. They hold a BSc in Maritime Business & Management from Liverpool John Moores University and have completed the Professional Qualifying Examinations at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
