Christopher Samia has a diverse work history with experience in various roles and industries. Christopher currently works at EMS Management & Consultants, Inc., where they have held positions such as Marketing Specialist, Marketing Manager, and is currently the Director of Marketing. Prior to this, they worked as an Instructor of English at Forsyth Technical Community College, where they taught various courses and developed online courses. Christopher also worked at CALX Group as an Academic Director and Training and Development Specialist, providing training courses and workshops in the United States and the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, they have experience as a Copywriter/Editor at Market America, Inc., a Layout/Content/Copy Editor at Technically Speaking, and a Substitute Teacher at W-S Forsyth County Schools. Christopher also has their own photography business, C.Samia Photography, where they take portraits and covers events. Early in their career, they worked at AmeriCorps Alums, developing a youth-based summer work and environmental educational program.
Christopher Samia has a strong educational background in media, creative writing, and English-professional writing. Christopher completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Creative Writing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English-Professional Writing at the same university. After obtaining their undergraduate degrees, Christopher went on to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Media and Creative Writing from Swansea University, where they studied from 2006 to 2008.
In addition to their academic achievements, Christopher has also obtained two additional certifications. In June 2017, they became a Notary Public through the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State. Furthermore, in May 2015, they obtained certification as an IFTA Indoor Cycling Instructor from the Interactive Fitness Trainers of America.
