Tobechukwu Onuegbu has worked in the software engineering field since 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Frontend Web Developer at IRISE ICT, where they developed and tested software solutions and resolved complex issues related to browser and network performance. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer (React/React Native) at Interswitch Group, where they engaged in agile development of new products, added features to existing products, and code and architecture review of existing codebases. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Mobile Application Developer at Seso Global Limited, where they designed and built the Seso mobile app, designed and developed a new user-friendly interface for the Seso Web platform, and optimized load times for the app by reducing bundle size and implementing a better file storage alternative. Currently, they are a Senior Frontend Engineer at EMTECH, where they are managing the Bahamas Yacht Payments Application, designed and developed an interface for Central Banks to manage their digital currencies, and developed a crypto-currency wallet.

Tobechukwu Onuegbu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Covenant University between 2010 and 2015. In 2015 and 2016, they received a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp. Tobechukwu also holds certifications from Udemy for React Native Advanced Concepts and React Native and Redux Course Completion, obtained in 2018. In 2017, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from GoLeanSixSigma.com. In 2013, they obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate from Cisco, as well as a CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA. Tobechukwu also holds a Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services.
