Virginia Chen

Virginia Chen is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience across multiple sectors. Currently serving as a Solutions Architect for Data & ML at emtelligent since January 2023, Virginia also co-founded Pawsperity Biotechnologies Inc. in 2018, where leadership as Lead Data Scientist is demonstrated. Previous roles include Senior Data Scientist at Acerta and the PROOF Centre of Excellence, where Virginia specialized in manufacturing and biological data, respectively, employing advanced techniques in machine learning and statistics. An academic foundation in Biostatistics (M.A.) from the University of California, Berkeley, and a combined Honours degree in Computer Science and Statistics (B.Sc.) from The University of British Columbia supports a strong technical skillset in Python, SQL, R, and problem-solving strategies.
