Bill Waddell, MBA, CPA, CGA has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Bill currently serves as the Vice President of Operations in the Prairie Region at Emterra Group since 2015. Previously, they worked at Waste Management from 2006 to 2014, where they held roles such as Senior Plant Manager, Senior MRF Manager, Senior Financial Analyst, and Interim Business Unit Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Emterra Group as the General Manager from 2001 to 2005, managing two recycling plants and 105 collection trucks. Bill also held positions at DHL, Pet Plan Insurance, and Cintas as the National Commercial (Sales) Director and General Manager, respectively. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership and accomplishments in business development, plant management, and performance improvement.
Bill Waddell, MBA, CPA, CGA, has a diverse education history. Bill received their Bachelor's Degree in Physical and Health Education from the University of Toronto, graduating in 1984. Following this, they pursued further education and completed an MBA with a focus on Marketing and Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1995. Continuing their educational journey, they obtained the Certified General Accountant designation from CGA Ontario in 2005, emphasizing their expertise in Accounting and Finance. In addition to their formal education, Bill Waddell has also acquired additional certifications, including one in OH&S Committee, Manufacturing from MOL / IAPA (no specific completion month or year provided).
