Asli Akidil

Asli Akidil is a highly experienced scientific professional with a focus on oncology safety and biomaterials. Currently serving as a Scientific Liaison III at Emulate, Inc. since August 2021, previous roles include Senior Scientist and Safety Scientist at AstraZeneca, and Advanced Research Assistant at Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. Asli holds a Master of Science degree in Advanced Materials with a specialization in biomaterials from Ulm University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Hacettepe University. Throughout a diverse career, Asli has contributed to various research projects, including the identification of gene mutations in AML patients and the investigation of colorectal cancer cell lines. Experience also includes internships at prestigious institutions like the Max Planck Institute and Sandoz, where skills in cell culture, quality control, and drug delivery systems were developed.
