Elias S. Manolakos is a distinguished researcher and educator with extensive experience in data science and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as a Visiting Professor at Northeastern University's Bouvé College of Health Sciences, Manolakos is focused on developing AI pipelines for predicting GPCR receptor-ligand interactions and creating computational tools for single-cell data analysis. As Lead Advisor in AI and Data Science at Emulate, Inc., research involves data analysis and predictive modeling for NIH-funded projects using Organs-on-Chips technology. In addition, as a Professor at the University of Athens, Manolakos leads a research group in Biomedical Data Science and Engineering. Previous roles include Visiting Scholar positions at the Wyss Institute and MIT, and an Associate Professorship at Northeastern's Electrical & Computer Engineering Department. Manolakos holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
