Owais Anjum has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Owais started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at CresSoft in 1997 and then moved on to KAPS Computing as a Senior Software Engineer in 1999. In 2000, they joined KAPS Consulting (USA) as a Software Consultant.
In 2003, Owais joined Numetrics Private Limited as the Software Development Manager and later became the Managing Director. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in bringing Numetrics to Pakistan and building a strong engineering team in Islamabad. Owais also spearheaded the establishment of cost-effective offshore operations while expanding the onshore team. In 2011, Numetrics was acquired by McKinsey.
In 2012, Owais co-founded Cricout, a social network for cricket, and served as the Co-Founder and CEO. Owais was responsible for the founding, bootstrapping, launching, fundraising, growth hacking, monetizing, and iterating processes. Owais remained in this role until 2019.
In 2014, Owais became an Advisor at DvSum, providing their expertise to the company. Owais also joined OPEN Islamabad as a Board Member, and later became the President, leading the organization and organizing numerous high-quality events.
In 2016, Owais co-founded GivingAt.work, a platform that facilitates companies in implementing and managing volunteering programs. Owais served as the Co-Founder of the company for a year.
Currently, Owais is working at Axelerated Software as an Advisor and Investor.

Owais Anjum's education history begins with their enrollment at Abbottabad Public School and College from 1987 to 1993. Owais then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, completing their studies from 1993 to 1997. Later, they joined San Jose State University and obtained their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) between 2003 and 2005.
