Sohaib Omar

Sohaib Omar has been working as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Emumba since August 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Swvl from December 2020 to July 2021. Sohaib also had multiple roles at Emumba, including Lead Backend Software Engineer from January 2020 to December 2020, Backend Software Engineer from August 2017 to December 2019, and Software Engineer Intern in June and July 2017. Before joining Emumba, Sohaib worked as a Trainee AI Engineer at Rosail from January 2017 to May 2017. Sohaib also interned at the Robots Sensing and Ambient Intelligence Lab, CIIT Islamabad from December 2015 to January 2017, where they gained experience in Linux and Big Data Tools Administration, Machine learning and Data Analytics, and Image Processing and Android apps development.

Sohaib Omar completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology from 2013 to 2017. In June 2018, they obtained a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera.
