Tim Stuart

Tim Stuart is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the payments and technology sectors. Currently, Tim holds the position of Biometric Component & IdV Secretariat at FIDO Alliance and serves as EMVCo European Liaison at EMVCo, both roles initiated in 2023. Previously, Tim spent over two decades at Mastercard, culminating as Vice President, where responsibilities included developing the IoT payments proposition, overseeing EMV and Contactless policies, and enhancing security measures. Tim's early career includes various consulting roles at Logica, where contributions were made in card technology and financial products. Tim's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Bristol and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham.
