Julian West

Julian West is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and marine sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Emvexis Limited since December 2022, Julian is responsible for the design and manufacture of FIA 8872-2018 approved Accident Data Recorders in the UK. Prior to this role, experience at Cox Powertrain Limited spanned from February 2016 to December 2022, where Julian advanced from Design Engineer to Principal Engineer, leading a team in developing the CXO300 diesel outboard engine. Previous roles include Design Engineer at Corbeau Motorsport Engineering Ltd, where Julian implemented quality management systems, and involvement in motorsport teams as a Race & Control Engineer and Electronics/Data Engineer. Julian holds a BSc (Honours) in Automotive Engineering from the University of Brighton and a BTEC National Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering from The Henley College.
