Hershaw Davis

Hershaw Davis, Jr., MSN, RN currently serves as Secretary for the Maryland Emergency Nurses Association and has held roles such as Co-Chair and Committee Member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee with the Emergency Nurses Association since January 2021. Additionally, Hershaw is a Clinical Faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Nursing, teaching pre-licensure undergraduate and graduate students. Engagements extend to committee memberships with the University of Maryland, Baltimore Diversity Advisory Council and the Baltimore Coalition of HIV Providers, among others. With extensive experience at Johns Hopkins Hospital since 2008, including positions as a Registered Nurse in the Adult Psychiatric Emergency Department and Case Manager, Hershaw also participates in legislative efforts through the Maryland Nurses Association. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry from Oakwood University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland Baltimore, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia.
