M. Dustin Bass

M. Dustin Bass, DNP, MHA, RN, CEN, NEA-BC serves as the Vice President of System Emergency Services and Vice President of Patient Care Services at ECU Health as of September 2024. Bass holds the position of 2025 President Elect and Secretary/Treasurer for the Emergency Nurses Association since January 2021 and has been elected as a Director on the ENA Board. Additional roles include Adjunct Professor in the MBA Program at Catawba College and formerly Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services at Atrium Health, overseeing multiple emergency care facilities and a significant budget. Experienced in various leadership positions within emergency and urgent care settings, Bass's career includes clinical and administrative roles across numerous healthcare organizations. Academia and clinical expertise are complemented by advanced degrees, including a Doctorate in Healthcare Leadership from Yale University.
