Kelsey Penner is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in emergency and critical care nursing. Currently serving as a Regional Emergency Nurse Educator at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority since May 2024, Kelsey is also the Owner of Stonewall Hobbycraft. With a longstanding commitment to military service, Kelsey has held various roles in the Canadian Armed Forces, including Reserve Force Nursing Advisor and Critical Care Nursing Officer since March 2005. Additionally, Kelsey functions as a Critical Care Flight Nurse with the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service and contributes to the Emergency Nurses Association as a Course Director/Instructor Trainer for the Trauma Nursing Core Course. Kelsey instructs Advanced Cardiac Life Support for the Heart & Stroke Foundation and previously worked as a Staff Registered Nurse at Health Sciences Centre. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Science in Trauma Sciences from Queen Mary University of London, a Critical Care Nursing Diploma from George Brown College, a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Manitoba, and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the same institution.
