Johnathan Eele is the Chief Executive Officer of Enable Fibre Broadband since August 2021, where the company has successfully delivered ultra-fast fibre broadband to over 200,000 homes and businesses in greater Christchurch and surrounding areas. Eele also serves as a Board Member and Director at REANNZ Ltd., New Zealand's National Research and Education Network, which provides a high-performance digital network for the research and education sectors. Prior to these roles, Eele held various leadership positions at Vocus New Zealand, including Chief Executive of Enterprise and Government, and General Manager of Wholesale, Regulatory, Commercial, and Energy. Eele's career includes significant contributions at CallPlus, M2 Telecommunications, where Eele was the CEO of M2 NZ, and as the founder of Black + White, New Zealand's first MVNO. Eele's earlier experience includes roles at Telecom New Zealand, Hutchison 3G, and Cable & Wireless. Eele holds a Chartered Member designation from the Institute of Directors in New Zealand and degrees in Business Studies and Marketing from Kingston University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
