Koushik Kannan

Koushik Kannan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Koushik is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at ENACOMM, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Koushik held the position of Director, Product Engineering & Technical Services at ENACOMM from October 2020 to April 2022. Koushik also served as the Software Development Manager at ENACOMM from October 2016 to October 2020.

Before joining ENACOMM, Koushik worked at RCS - iHeartMedia for a significant period. Koushik held the role of Lead Architect / Assistant Manager of Development from January 2009 to October 2016, where they provided leadership for multiple products and successfully delivered flagship product, Zetta, to a global audience. Koushik also led integration projects with other vendors to ensure seamless integration among different products. Additionally, they served as the Team Lead from February 2007 to October 2016, where they architected the new Radio Automation system, Zetta, and managed the full software development lifecycle.

Prior to their time at RCS - iHeartMedia, Koushik worked at Prophet Systems as a Team Lead from January 2004 to February 2007. In this role, they designed a newsroom software system for radio stations and created a workflow mechanism for wire ingest services. Koushik also acted as the Senior Software Engineer at Prophet Systems from March 2002 to January 2004, where they implemented the rules engine for MusicGen and developed reporting tools and custom grid controls.

Koushik began their career as a Software Engineer at CSWL Inc from February 1999 to February 2002 and at California Software from August 1997 to February 1999.

From 1993 to 1997, Koushik Kannan attended the University of Madras, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
