Steve Hitchings

Steve Hitchings is an experienced professional in the mortgage insurance industry, currently serving as Account Development Manager and HFA Segment Manager at Enact Mortgage Insurance since 2018. In this role, Steve focuses on enhancing Genworth's value proposition for Housing Finance Agencies (HFA) and works collaboratively with the sales team to drive growth in this segment by aligning HFA, lender, and investor needs to develop unique solutions. Prior to Enact, Steve held the position of Account Development Manager at Genworth Mortgage Insurance from 2005 to 2017 and worked as a Business Development Manager at GE from 2000 to 2005. Steve holds a degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where studies were pursued from 1979 to 1982.
