Dave Ahrens

Dave Ahrens is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Materials Analytics & Data Processing at enaDyne since July 2021, where responsibilities include coordinating materials analyses, programming image analysis and machine learning algorithms, and managing data with a focus on AI tools and design of experiments. Prior roles include Staff Scientist at TU Bergakademie Freiberg and research positions at alfatraining Bildungszentrum GmbH, DataCamp, and Forschungszentrum Jülich, where work spanned various aspects of data science, machine learning, and physical modeling. Ahrens holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Chemistry from The University of Bonn and a Master of Science in Physics from Leipzig University.
