Luis Ignacio Parada

Luis Ignacio Parada has extensive experience in energy policy and regulation, currently serving as the EU Energy Policy & Regulation Director at Enagás since December 2004, with responsibilities spanning global regulation and environmental policy. Parada has held various leadership roles, including Head of Global Regulatory Services and Head of Regulatory Development, overseeing regulatory affairs at both EU and international levels. In addition to current board memberships with ENTSOG, ENNOH, GIE, and EASEE-gas, Parada has served as President of GLE and was previously a member of the Independent Transmission Operator Committee for the Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG. Parada began a career in regulatory design and economic consulting at NERA Economic Consulting and has a solid educational background, including an Executive MBA from IESE Business School and a Licenciatura en Economía from Universidad de Salamanca.
