Maria Junco Madero

Maria Junco Madero is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director General de Gestión Técnica del Sistema at Enagás, where responsibilities include overseeing investments in gas network planning and conducting technical and economic analysis. Maria has held various leadership roles at Enagás since January 2008, including Director de Operación and Head of Analysis and Development. Additionally, Maria has contributed to MIBGAS as a board member since May 2024 and has experience as a university lecturer specializing in the economics of energy at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from October 2013 to July 2023. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Chemical and Process Engineering from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an Executive MBA in Renewable Project Management from EOI, among other academic achievements.
