Jiajun Zhang

Jiajun Zhang is a Group Leader in Medicinal Chemistry at Enanta Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities include leading the discovery and preclinical development of novel small molecule KIT kinase inhibitors and SARS-COV-2 PLpro inhibitors. Previously, Jiajun served as a Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist at the same company, contributing significantly to SARS-COV-2 antiviral projects and immunology modulators. Early career experience includes roles as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Scripps Research under the guidance of Dale L. Boger, focusing on the total synthesis of Vinblastine, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Peking University. Jiajun holds a PhD in Chemistry from Scripps Research and a BS in Chemistry from Peking University.
