Joseph Helble has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Joseph began their career at Borden Corporation in 1981 as a Scientist before moving on to Polaroid Corporation in 1986. At Polaroid, they worked in the chemicals division and later the central research division, focusing on developing chemical analyses and implementing analytical environmental testing. In 2002, they joined Infinity Pharmaceuticals Inc as a Scientist, specializing in solid state techniques and spray drying technology for pharmaceutical development. Joseph worked their way up to the role of Senior Scientist, overseeing pharmaceutical development programs. Since 2017, Joseph has been working at Enanta Pharmaceuticals, where they have held various positions including Senior Scientist and Group Leader. Joseph is currently the Associate Director of Analytical Chemistry, CMC Enanta Pharmaceuticals Inc. In this role, they lead solid state characterization efforts, writes CMC analytical submissions, and oversees vendor management of analytical work. Joseph has expertise in solid state characterization, formulation development, and regulatory filings for small molecule drugs.
Joseph Helble received their BA in Chemistry from Boston University from 1972 to 1976. Joseph later pursued a higher degree and obtained an MS in Chemistry from Northeastern University from 1978 to 1981. Prior to their college education, Joseph attended Teaneck High School, although the specific dates of their attendance and any degree obtained are unknown.
