Chiara Micalizzi

R&D Chemical Development Scientist at Enapter

Chiara Micalizzi has a diverse work experience. Chiara is currently working as an R&D Chemical Development Scientist at Enapter since 2022. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as Responsabile del laboratorio chimico at Asso Werke Srl. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Laboratory Engineer at Röchling Automotive, where they were responsible for validating the design and productive process of SCR tanks, as well as planning, testing and data analysis. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Global R&D intern at AkzoNobel Decorative Coatings, where they tuned the rheology of thixotropic waterborne paint formulations for trim and wood care. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Research Internship for Science and Engineering (RISE) at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, where they worked in an international research team and gained hands-on experience. From 2013 to 2016, they were also a scientific divulgator at the exhibition "Ludoteca scientifica" at the University of Pisa, where they presented and explained physical and chemical phenomena to the exhibition visitors. Additionally, they have been a private tutor for university students since 2012, teaching them organic chemistry, physical chemistry and general chemistry.

Chiara Micalizzi obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Chimica industriale - Scienza dei materiali from Università di Pisa between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chimica per l'industria e l'ambiente from Università di Pisa between 2010 and 2014. Chiara also spent one year at Beijing Institute of Education, Pechino (Cina) in 2011. Chiara obtained a Diploma from Scientific high school \"Ulisse Dini\" between 2005 and 2010. In addition, Chiara Micalizzi has obtained several certifications, including an English language evaluation test OLS Erasmus+: level C1 from Erasmus Student Network in April 2017, a Goethe-Zertifikat B1 from Goethe-Institut e.V. in June 2016, an HSK Level 2 from Confucius Institute Online in December 2012, and a European Computer Driving License from Associazione Italiana per l'Informatica e il Calcolo Automatico.
