Danielle Cortez

Danielle Cortez, RD, CSOWM has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Danielle founded Better Break Foods, a food company focused on offering healthy and delicious food products. Prior to that, they worked at Enara Health where they held various positions, including Senior Director of Coaching/Provider Growth Manager, Director of Nutrition and Exercise Operations, Director of Dietetics, and Lead Dietitian. Danielle also worked as a Registered Dietitian at Wellspace SF and as the Lead of the Launch Team at Zesty, Inc. In addition, Danielle was a Clinical Dietitian at Jewish Home of San Francisco and a Dietetic Intern at UCSF Medical Center. Earlier in their career, they served as an OSM Support and Training Manager at ComQi Inc. and as a National Sales Assistant at Clear Channel Outdoor.

Danielle Cortez, RD, CSOWM, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Foods, Nutrition, and Wellness Studies, General from Brooklyn College, completed from 2011 to 2013. Danielle also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Binghamton University, State University of New York, completed from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they completed their Dietetic Internship at the University of California, San Francisco in 2013. Danielle has additional certifications including Business Essentials Accelerator from Learning @ Morning Brew (obtained in 2022), Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management (obtained in 2018), and Registered Dietician (RD) (obtained in 2014).
