Dr. Lydia C. Alexander is the accomplished Chief Medical Officer at Enara Health and an internationally recognized leader in the field of Obesity Medicine. As President-Elect of the Obesity Medicine Association, she is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of obesity as a complex, chronic medical disease. Dr. Alexander is board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, as well as a fellow and diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Additionally, she is a skilled medical chef, integrating nutrition and cooking into her clinical practice. Dr. Alexander received her M.D. from UC Davis School of Medicine and completed her residency training at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco, where she served as Chief Resident. She is a two-time award recipient, having been recognized as the 2018 Obesity Medicine Clinician of the Year and the 2019 Dr. Raymond E. Dietz Meritorious Service awardee.
