Rita Velazquez is a seasoned professional in business development and supply chain management with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Director of Business Development for Enbridge, Rita focuses on originating new business opportunities in South Texas, particularly in relation to pipeline and storage assets, and has a strong emphasis on projects serving LNG off-takers and industrial clients. Prior roles include Strategic Advisor and Supply Chain Manager at Enbridge and Spectra Energy, where Rita successfully managed multimillion-dollar portfolios, developed strategic sourcing initiatives, and maintained key customer relationships. Rita's educational background includes an MBA in Energy Accounting & Finance from the University of Houston and a B.S. in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University.
