Dr. Jan Röder

Dr. Jan Röder is a data engineer with extensive experience in data warehousing and ETL pipelines, currently working at Encavis AG since March 2024. Prior to this role, Dr. Röder was involved in developing an AI-based chatbot for insurance at SDA SE Open Industry Solutions and reimplementing process logic for a Kafka tool. As a research associate at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, research focused on machine learning and decision-making support in credit risk using semi- and unstructured data. Early experiences include an internship at Volkswagen AG, analyzing data-driven remanufacturing processes, and an internship at Sycor, where a client dashboard for manufacturing metrics was developed. Dr. Röder holds a doctoral degree, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees in Business Information Systems, all from the University of Göttingen.
